This class is for artists who want to refine their plein air skills. We will paint in various locations in San Diego and Northern San Diego. After the first day we will decide as a class where to paint the next day. The class will include starting two days at 1pm, so that we can paint the sunset. The class is for intermediate to experienced plein air artists. Ray has a number of exercises to allow you to breakthrough in your abilities. We hope that you can join us.

WORKSHOP SUPPLY LIST

It is important that you bring all items

Portable easel (French easel, half easel, pochade)
Container for washing brushes (Holbein brush cleaner, Newton airtight brush washer, Silicoil jar, or something similar)
Gamsol
Portable palette or paper palette
Paper towels and a small trash bag
Sketch book and pencils
Natural bristle brushes: Flats 2, 4 and 6 (at least 2 each)
Palette knife
Small Pocket mirror
a drawing pencil with a small sketch book
2 magic markers- one medium grey and a black
